Manchester Terminal 3

Manchester - Mar 27, 2008
EUROMANX MANCHESTER SERVICE SWITCHES TO TERMINAL 3

Passengers travelling to and from Manchester international Airport will be delighted to learn that EuroManx will relocate from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3, Check In Desk 15, from 30th March 2008.

This move is hugely beneficial to passengers who should experience quicker, smoother transit from check-in to boarding.

Donna Sloane, EuroManx Head of Sales and Marketing, said passengers could expect a significant improvement:

"Passengers should find the process from Check in through to boarding quicker, smoother and better staffed. The vast majority of flights to and from the Isle of Man will park directly adjacent the Terminal and therefore will require no bus transfer, thus saving more time and guaranteeing a quicker journey from the airport for those passengers arriving at Manchester.

"EuroManx enjoys an excellent relationship with Manchester Airport, Isle of Man Airport and our handling agents, Flight Support, who look after our ground handling requirements at both Isle of Man and Manchester Airports. Consequently, we have one of the best schedule punctuality records of any airline operating in and out of Manchester airport. Relocating to Terminal 3 will enhance EuroManx' outstanding on-time performance even further."

'Gold' Membership of the airline’s EuroClub scheme will give unlimited access to the BMI Lounge, located in Terminal 3.

EuroManx Head of Sales and Marketing, Donna Sloane, commented,

We are pleased to offer added value to all our fares with no baggage charges and free in-flight refreshments on our Liverpool, Manchester and London City routes, making EuroManx the best value airline."

John Seymour, EuroManx CEO, echoed the company’s delight at the bumper start to the year.

"We are in a competitive market and, judging by the response of our passengers, we have made a popular decision to introduce this new low fare across three routes.

EuroManx to offer scholarships

Isle of Man - Dec 31, 2007
In 2008, EuroManx will be offering a number of scholarships to outstanding individuals or groups with the potential to further their sporting careers and put the Isle of Man on the map in the process.

It may be that in order to achieve progress, regular trips to the UK may be required, and this is where EuroManx comes in. EuroManx has always been a strong supporter of community projects, charitable good causes and sponsorships. Cycling star Mark Cavendish, and the young, rising badminton champion, Josh Green, are just two who have benefited from assistance with their flights to the UK from EuroManx.

Now the opportunity has arisen for stars of the future to join them and become an ambassador for EuroManx and the Isle of Man.

Donna Sloane, EuroManx Head of Sales and Marketing, commented, "EuroManx has always had a policy of helping nurture young talent and this new initiative will provide invaluable assistance to the Island’s rising stars.

"The Island has produced some amazing success stories across the world, particularly in sport, and we want to play our part in developing this further. So many young athletes need to travel off the Island to train and compete, so if EuroManx can help with their often expensive travel requirements then we will be only too happy to help.

"EuroManx is the Isle of Man’s 'community airline' we are a local company with our entire operation based on the Island, so this scholarship scheme will reflect our commitment to the Island and its people."

Scholarships will include some funding and a bank of flights depending on the sport and level of expertise.

This award will be judged by an independent select committee for complete fairness.
